debates are very triggering and upsetting to post- ab women.

regardless of if you are prolife or prochoice, or in the middle, when debates start, they get ugly, and people tend to get very emotional, and it hurts because you can feel 'unheard', or else judged for your beliefs, and found lacking, either way...it's very difficult to have debates around post ab women - that's why I had to remove all the debatable stuff off my site - it ended up upsetting more than it helped - but you are not unusual to be triggered by it!
