I am very sorry for your loss.
Please read what I have written to Jennifer. I hope it can help some.
As for the baby's father, there is no reason he should have been fired as long as you were not a minor at the time he became involved with you. (He could possibly be unelected if he is in an elected or political position.) Is your relationship secret now? Does your baby's father understand what you are going through?
If so, that would make it a lot more difficult to come to terms as you are probably feeling rather isolated. Please know that you are not alone in your emotions.
Do seek out a support group or something so that you don't feel so alone. If there is anything at all I can do to help, please let me know.
